We typically respond to inquiries within two business days. Complex project inquiries may require additional time to review relevant materials and provide meaningful feedback.
Visiting Our Office
Our office is located in Halifax's historic waterfront district, providing convenient access to many of the structures we study. The building itself is a restored 19th-century maritime warehouse, demonstrating adaptive reuse principles we often discuss with clients.
Street parking is limited in the waterfront area. The Lower Water Street parking garage is two blocks south, and several surface lots are available within walking distance. Public transit routes serving the waterfront include Routes 1, 7, and 10.
Please schedule appointments in advance to ensure availability, particularly if you wish to discuss specific projects or review materials.
Project Inquiries
When contacting us about potential projects, helpful information includes:
- Project location and any heritage designations affecting the property
- Type of work being considered (documentation, development consulting, impact assessment, etc.)
- Project timeline and any submission deadlines
- Preliminary plans or documentation if available
- Specific questions or concerns you'd like addressed
This context helps us provide more specific guidance in our initial response and determine if additional consultation would be beneficial.
